Shall We Call Down Fire?

From St. Luke 9, James and John are thinking of responding to the Samaritans as Elijah did to Ahaziah.  What did they get wrong?  The sermon.

Thanks for the sermon. Makes me think of the hijacking of Christianity by the inquisition and or Holy wars against the Turk, etc.
